I want to thank both of you in appreciation of helping us successfully work through my daughter's wedding, despite resistance and roadblocks by the wedding venue Event Director. The event was a great success, due to the on-the-ground work by April and her assistants to quickly work through every issue. Yes, there are some disappointments and shortfalls in the execution of the event, however none of these are attributed to or related to the coordination services provided by April & her team.
During our very first meeting via Zoom, I told you both that dealing with me would be an "extensively involved" challenge! My bar of expectations was set quite high, definitely way above the average Mother of the Bride, based on my knowledge and experience for many years as a wedding planner myself.
I'm driven by details, to have an event thoroughly planned, documented and rehearsed. During our first meeting, and further confirmed at our first venue meeting, my confidence was established in April's abilities to deliver excellence that I desired. April, the professionalism and true patience you exhibited during our "challenging" road to completion due to the volatile and negative atmosphere of our venue, is commendable beyond words. Admittedly, we only hired your company for "day of service" with limited services inclusions. In the end, we received so much more, from the countless emails, text messages, and phone calls to work through the details and complications presented by the venue. Throughout the process, you worked through every request, with positivity and confidence. You continually provided us with knowledgeable advice, to navigate thru every planning challenge. After what seemed to be an endless experience of emotional turmoil, the wedding day finally arrived, and you managed execution of every detail! My husband was similarly impressed and appreciative of no matter what was asked of you, you were always approachable and responsive. I do know that the title of a "Wedding Planner" entails much more effort then glory, so for all you that you did, and all you are -- THANK YOU April!
