Katherine and Ben’s love story began on a blind double date in May 2018, set up by two close friends. Their engagement was a dream come true: Ben proposed in front of St. Catherine’s Church in Palermo, Sicily, during a family vacation. The proposal was a complete surprise to Katherine, even though friends and family were in on the plan—a moment she describes as deeply meaningful and full of love.
For their wedding, Katherine and Ben sought an intimate and elegant celebration, and the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia offered the perfect setting. With just 20 of their closest friends and family in attendance, the couple exchanged vows on the stunning Camelback Lawn. Camelback Mountain provided a breathtaking backdrop, enhancing the serene, romantic ambiance of their ceremony.
Guests were treated to a relaxed and joyful cocktail hour at the Chef’s Kitchen, where even the couple’s beloved dog made a special appearance. The celebration continued outdoors with an elegant al fresco dinner, featuring exceptional food and wine that reflected the couple’s love of quality cuisine and warm hospitality. Every detail—from the candlelit tables to the personal touches woven throughout—highlighted Katherine and Ben’s vision of a wedding that was timeless, elegant, and unforgettable.
Katherine’s design preferences leaned toward rustic elegance and Mediterranean romance, blending warm wood tones, soft greenery, and sophisticated floral arrangements, while Ben’s laid-back style added a relaxed, personal touch to the day.
